D-Wave in Motion is the title of Dancewave’s programs in the
public schools, all of which are based on the New York State Performing
Arts Standards. We recently received an Annenberg grant from the
Center for Arts Education
for our work with the High School of Telecommunications, Arts and
Technology combining Dance with Physics for all freshmen
in the school. Dancewave also works with P.S.172 in Sunset Park,
Brooklyn, developing a dance curriculum for all kindergarten and
1st graders. Dancewave teacher, Carina Rubaja teaches the popular
class. The program has been so successful, the school has asked
Dancewave
to create a Saturday morning dance program
for the school.
